The Panasonic Lumix FZ18
Reviewed by Tony Smithers
Earlier
this year I was looking for a good compact camera with a long lens capability
and true wide angle. I already had a Canon G7, which I will review later but I
wanted something with a greater zoom lens. I had noticed Dave Meikle in the
club had a Panasonic Lumix F7, which he was raving about, and I saw the quality
of pictures he was getting from this camera. I was immediately drawn to the
internet to find out about the Panasonic Lumix range of cameras. I also went
back through my camera magazines to find any reviews of the Lumix FZ series.
An enthusiastic welcome to all of you who
are reading this article.Midlothian
Camera Club commenced again on the first Tuesday of September after a short
summer break. This is our 37th year.
Just a quick note to let everyone know that over the next few days I'll be experimenting with things on the website. You may notice some changes during this time as I shall be testing a new calendar module and also forums. These changes may remain depending on the results of my testing.
